my goal : lose the cat !

Now i'v been looking @ emoto's pipe links page
http://www.emotouk.com/mvagusta/exhausts/brutale/linkpipes.htm

now i got some questions :
the first pipe comes without EPROM
is this trustworthy ?
the second pipe comes with a EPROM
is this a PowerCommander or are there others brands ?
could the EPROM easaly be adjusted by any other dealer/dynorunner ?

For the time being i dont have the money to put the titanium muffles on top of it .
Will the stock mufflers be a bottlenect to the complete system ?
if so, can they be adjusted ?

Thx 4 your advice

Definetly lose the cat, get a BMC air filter, settle on what exhaust pipes/silencer you want, get a PCIII and have it custom mapped for your specific bike by a professional dyno tuner. The bike will then perform to its maximum potential.

I mounted my emoto midpipe yesturday. See link - http://www.emotouk.com/mvagusta/specialoffers.htm

I have TI mufflers and eprom - and there is a big difference when you move the cat. Both in sound and power. :drummer:

And the injection is now a lot smoother at low revs. You can really feel that this is the way this engine is supposed to breath :devilsmok

I'm sure they would love it if emoto sold the Ti midpipe for the price in his link ! I don't think they are quite THAT generous :D
those photos are of my own Brut. I wonder too, if the price for these pipes is only £409,95. My Brut came with these pipes.... :flamethro

Hi Rags.

I have the Tititanium MotoCorse pipes on. The eprom came with theese pipes.

I haven't been riding rough on it yet with the midpipe, weather has been bad the last week  But is feels as if it is smoother all the way, and without any doubt with more power - and a loud wunderfull sound :yo: :smoking:

Here are some pics.

I got better rpm response all around when I removed the cat, especially at the lower end. The on/off low rpm response is not pretty much gone. I agree, it almost seems like the original mapping was set up for without a cat. You still need to be smooth off the throttle, but no where near the abruptness as before. I hope things will be even better when I get the BMC filter and a custom map with the PCIII.
