Wouldn't it be great if MV offered a larger (as in overall bike size) version of the current Brutale? A "Brutale II" if you will.. the engine can be increased relative to the current riding dynamics of the Brutale, so as not to over do it and keep it how we love it, just a larger profile Brutale for larger riders.

You could buy a Tuono, they're about an inch or two bigger, but I find them visually unappealing. Downright ugly, actually.

True, if you want bigger, get a Tuono, the MV is perfect! The first time I sat on mine I was awestruck! The bike is MADE for me!

(Of course, being 5'3 I realize guys that have another foot on me, probable don't like it as much, but to them I say :p )

Hey!!!!

:stickpoke I'm 5'2" and I'm glad I finally found a bike that FITS! Don't keep encouraging them to make bigger bikes and FURTHER limit the selections for us shorties.

I know a lot of people that have had custom seats made to increase seat height on their bikes. Would that work.

Oh, but yes, there are things I run across now and then that I really wish were 1" or 2" bigger.... :smoking:

at 5'6".... i'm glad that someone finally made a bike for ME :koolaid: :friday:

after spending the last year on a BMW R1200GS... which is the quintessential bike made for tall folks... it's a novelty to be able to "flat foot" the bike at a light
I'm also 5'6" and for the first time in my life I have a bike that fits my frame. Seat height could be 1/2" shorter for me (*30" inseam) but everthing else works for me. I'm seriously thinking about modifying my stock seat with a gel pad and taking the 1/2" off of it.

it surely does fit me well
i have a 27.5" inseam and i like the seat where it is

do NOT make it shorter... because, eventually, your knees will ache if your legs are bent too much

bikes are meant to be ridden so that you and only TIPTOE the bike at a stop with both feet... or... left foot on the ground and right foot on the rear brake, at a light

good point, I have to think about that for a while. When I'm riding fast in the twisties I personally prefer my legs bent, as it gives me additional leverage on the pegs while cornering. Granted this comes at the expense of commuting comfort so I'll have to determine the right balance is for me. My biggest concern is not the leg position at all but rather the height of the handlebar in relation to my torso. The bars on the Brutale are already quite high, lower the seat would essentially raise the bars up farther.

The Brutale is the perfect bike for me. I stand 5'4 tall and have the bike at the lowest setting at the rear and dropped the front a bit to match. I can flat foot and everything is where it should be. I am very happy with the Brutale, my partner sometimes rides my bike and complains it's small, but he is tall. He has an Aprilia Tuono which is suitable for taller people.

I'm 6'0" and wish it were smaller. Not so much the ergonomics, but the width and the the weight. What would really be nice is a 750cc triple. Just take one cylinder out of the liter bike and instantly the motor becomes much narrower and lighter as well. Less frontal area, etc. Still plenty of HP. Something like a cross between a Triumph 675 motor and a Brutale.
