I have a 2017 F3 800. How do I know if my bike is euro 3 or euro 4? And what is the difference between the two? Thanks!

Generally speaking Euro 3 bikes have silver painted engines whilst Euro 4 onwards are black. The triple exhaust outlet pipes on Euro 3 are curved and on Euro 4 onwards they are straight. The mechanical differences are all about reducing noise and emissions and relate to the engine.

hmmmm……. I have a black engine and curved pipes on a 2017 RC 800……..?

I think the curved pipes indicate a Euro 3 model. The Euro 4 bikes weren’t available in Europe until early 2017 and came with straight, larger pipes.
