I traded my 2007 312r for 2011 1090rr. Found different info on internet about the engine specs of the 1090rr.
One source mentioned 144bhp and other source 158bhp.
Does someone know the right specs? Thanks

Those numbers are meaningless. Every other dyno will produce different results for the same bike. Different bikes will produce different numbers on the same dyno and the same day, even if they are identical.

Bottom line, there is all the horsepower you can use, regardless.

If you are wondering which motor spec you have, check the sprocket sizes. The higher hp motor has lower grunt down low, and has lower sprocket ratio to make up for it.

If you have the black motor ,you got the best ,max torque at 8500 rpm where it is needed the others are silver motor and max torque is up somewhere around 10000 rpm .Enjoy you have plenty of grunt . Rear wheel around 134 hp ,if you believe the dyno's. LOL

cheers eddy
