Yup. Can you tell which hose, pump, filter?

If you can at some point cut the little barb in the top of the pump hose connector like Chuck recommends. It’s effective.

No. This is normal for First Gen bikes that do not have frequent tank internal maintenance. It’s a once-every-three-year gig.

If you do a search for Fuel Hose/Quit Running/Popped Off you’ll probably garner a thousand posts.

No! If anything, look up my thread on cutting a small barb in the pump outlet pipe. Good clamps and new hose of the correct J30R10 spec is what you need.
