Hi, on the weekend ride I noticed my MV idle didn't drop when I pulled up to a set of light with the clutch held in.
It usually drops by a couple of hundred RPM.
Anyway later after thinking about it and wondering if it was the clutch switch I did the try and start it in first gear, clutch in,side stand up..
It wouldn't start unless in neutral..
The switch appears to be a small metal headed plunger type rather than an actual micro switch.
It will be going to be checked under warrenty but I wondered if there's any tricks ,cleaning ,adjustments or maybe it just a failure.
Any advice appreciated.

It is an on/off switch.
I would guess jumping the connector to make it always on would work, but might do things to your mapping as the ECU will think the clutch is always disengaged ….
