Ecu studio rom suggestions for 2020 dragster rr

Just have a GPR slip on exhaust and DNA air filter (with the air snorkels removed for more air flow).

Ecu support said try the following ROM's:

The most recent files for your model are the 0913J005 and 0913JK05. The first one is the European standard ROM and it works on any bike in the world. The second one is the "open exhaust" map sold by MV Agusta, it's an improved version of the standard ROM.

I tried 0913JK05 and selected Rain mode. Bike felt the same as before. Trying rain mode for softer throttle response.

Anyone have any bin files they can share for their tuned Dragster with similar mods as mine ?

Hi,
I recently bought (and am still waiting for) an ECU studio for my 2019 Euro 4 Brutale 800 RR with a slip-on, so interested in which file will be fit for mine and need some essence to optimize it.
Have you tried to apply F3 rom files?
Mine is a dragster 2020 800rr also euro4. But unsure if the ecu mapping is similar to a Brutale 800rr.
Here is what ECU studio support wrote about the dragster:

I have experienced an OEM racing ECU for Euro 4 Brutale 800 RR from Evolution bike, I believe this is identical to the race kit of Brutale 800 RC.

This racing ECU is described dedicated for SC project S1 conical slip-on, but in reality, this is optimized for S1 slip-on + racing header and I realized it is far from perfect when without racing header or optimization.
If the "open exhaust" means slip-on + race header, these data is basically identical with the racing ECU.

I also tried this racing ECU with other slip-ons, but in the end I went back to the stock ECU and it worked way better, although there is still a gap from perfect.
If you won't install racing headers, I bet standard one is better start point for you.
Try both!

Have a look at this video of an well known Italian MV specialist and tuner.
Make sure to turn on English subtitles (I understand Italian)

never drive on rain mode.
It is very restrictive, no power.
Go on sport mode to have the full power.
Or do your own set up in Custom mode what I did with smooth throttle control but full power

Thank you for sharing the specialist video.
Once I bought a dedicated ECU for SC project S1 slip-on from EB and tried both the ECU and S1 slip-on a while.
Then I moved to the ECU studio recently because I feel clearly the dedicated ECU was not suits S1 Slip-on.
I've already ordered ECU studio and will receive it soon.

Yes, it was an expensive lesson on life I learnt... o_O

I ended up going back to stock ROM 0913J005 because it has better mid range (possibly due to exhaust valve being enabled).

The Mv race map 0913JK05 does have more high rpm drive but loses the awesome mid range of the stock motor.

Once the order was received it took about 5 days to get the usb dongle and can bus connector. The software was a download link but beware windows 10 seems to think it's a virus.

My condolences if you have crowdstrike :)

I had my bike mapped on dyno (unforunately with bad cam timing as the intake cam had pitting and lengthened chain) and with the QD legal with all dB eaters in.
Installed a Euro 3 F3 exhaust (larger end pipes to B3) and now I feel about 20 hp more :D.
Legal QD seems to be total crap :mad:.
I could not open my old files on the new V7 version.
Trick is:
Just save it and you can access yourt old files again.

I put the ignition mapping of the RC into my file. Seems to have more advance timing
Will give it a try.

You got a Euro 3 bike what ist absolutely different from Euro 4 Bikes that we are talking about.
You need to go for Euro 3 ROMs.
You should find a Euro 3 Racing ROM in ECUStudio

You need to allow time when dealing with ECUS as this is pretty normal. They will reply though.

I think there was only one map for a race can for my Dragster (2016). There was lots of other maps but not for this bike.

There are no exhaust valve on these bikes. So I would stick with the ones for your bike. I would be interested if you try the others though...

Woke up this morning and checked my email hoping to find a response from ECUS on my ROM query. Instead I found a refund from ECUS and a message that they are out of parts and can't source anything to build up set anytime soon :( Not the news I was hoping for - that puts me back into "portage to Chicago" for a ECU update camp again.

My 2018 model got the exhaust valve too.
But I changed the header for a Euro 3 one without the valve, larger diameters and less restrictive cat.

Ignition of the RC has some strange values in comparison to the standard one.
Standard is linear, RC not.




I tested the RC ignition map but will go back to standard. Do not trust it.
Didn't feel a difference (but it was in the wet)

i removed my gpr slip on exhaust and installed the original oem exhaust today.

wow the throttle response was perfect with stock exhaust. super strong acceleration.

this proves that even a slip on exhaust needs a proper dyno mapping performed.

sadly there is no dyno shop around me.

I went back from QD exhaust with dB eaters in to a Euro3 F3 exhaust.
Feels like 20 hp more. Very good throttle response, very smooth.
Did not change my mapping - the extreme increase in power is just the exhaust itself.
