ECU compatability

Just curious. I've been speaking with another member about some issues they have had with their F4. He has narrowed it down to an ECU issue. What I wanted to know is if a F4 1000R ECU will work in a F4 1000S. I believe that they would, but it would need the tuning chip from the F4 1000S. If anyone could advise, or let me know if that is the case, it would be much appreciated.

No Josh, sorry mate, no chance. Different wiring ....etc, many differences.
