Not yet...just picked it up two weeks ago and only has 170 miles on it. Just waiting for some warmer weather.

There's a new track opening in NJ as well which should be a lot of fun.

With the mid-pipe, RG3, and the BMC did you have to get the ECU reprogrammed to run correctly, or were there any problems with the bolt on parts and the ECU?
Thanks

Mr. Ferracci hooked me up with the EPROM and a tune. Very nice guy...

Big numbers :)

Why did they stop at 12,000 rpm? Did you have a chance to dyno it stock?

They did not have a chance to get it on prior to the parts...i guess they were busy. The redline is at 12,200 if i'm not mistaken. I'm sure 200 rpms more wouldn't have made that big of a difference.

Also, i'm sure once the bike breaks in (only has 170 miles now), it will loosen up a bit more and gain a few more ponies :f4:

yea you'll deifnitely be picking up another 2 or 3 horses there!

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the f4R's redline is closer to 13k.....your power looks like it was still rising at 12k!

That would be sweet. I remember reading the booklet and seeing 12,200. Regardless........it's a WIN WIN for me.

I'm very happy with the setup especially since it only cost me $1400 for everything.

If you have an 07 F41000R, then you have a 5SM ECU. There is no EPROM to replace on that model ECU.... so I assume he re-flashed it.

Just out of curiosity, when you turn the throttle -- really slightly from idle --- does your RPM go from 1200 (idle) directly to about 2000?
Or can you hold the throttle to 1500-1600 or anywhere between idle and 2K?

My question is that I read that the ti motocorse pipes also come with an ECU...what is the difference between that ECU map and what FBF is providing?

Rand,

I will have to check for you next day it's nice out. I can't recall where the RPMs were. I will also call Ferracci tomorrow to see exactly what kind of map they loaded. I do appreciate the info on the ECU as i'm new to the Agusta world. One thing i did notice was that power delivery was so much smoother and linear.

Suryad,

I will check on that prob tomorrow and get back to you.

The Ferracci flash eliminates the 02 sensor, making the 5M act more like older simpler 1.6 ecu. Flashes can be custom for intake, engine and exhaust setup. Once flashed, the low end trim setting can be adjusted with software.

Called FBF today to verify their ECU mod...

The ECU on the F4R does get reflashed...no EPROM!
They also used a baseline flash for the mods i had listed and then tweaked it to fit my bike.

Long story short...very smooth power delivery!

How did they tweak it to customize for you zwampy? FBF is in LA and you are in PA...do they just guess some values based on your setup? Thanks for the info!
