Got back to the dyno today to test the AEM fuel pump from my other thread. It held up to the abuse well. Also, the JetPrime water pump didn't let temps get past the 190s on the session. It was in the 179-194 range for most of the runs.

Overall, we picked up 10 horsepower everywhere and 6 horsepower at peak. Since the original dyno the only differences are an RG3 slip-on exhaust, an EK3D chain, the pump, slave cylinder, and an old batch of VP U4.4 that likely lost most of it's potency. Anyways, here is the graph below. Ignore the false max torque reading on the old blue graph.

The AFR is a bit squiggly for my taste but the bike was smooth as butter when doing the pulls on the dyno.

I'm here Black_Gold. I'm here. I'm one of the original OGs. I even threw the first MV Forum get-together at BeaveRun back in May 2010 back when Lee was still alive. Miss that guy!

Honestly, I never expected that "A Forgotten Superbike" would get as many views as it did. I was thinking about doing an update to that video at some point this coming Summer.

Great Video and POWER!
I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up some more power if that AFR was cleaned up.

Thanks Ben.

Yeah we didn't chase the golden egg because the weather conditions were lousy. ideally we'd want good pressure and much lower humidity. Maybe later on in the season I'll head back but with a perfect tune with fresh race fuel we're probably looking at 155hp - 158hp SAE or 160hp STD.

Very soon I'm going to do a dyno graph comparison with my bike and a new Gen liter bike. I suspect that the F4 1000S kills everything up to 11,000rpm and the new bikes shine over that all the way to 14,000rpm.

I've watched that video more times than a sane person should!

if nothing else, a follow up video would be complimentary...as it's very obvious you have not forgotten! ;)
