Hi people.

I'm back with my "same old  idea" of drilling the original muflers :drummer: :yo: :drummer: :yo: Why? I want more sound whith the same look, sorry dont like the Arrow ones (by the way...if someone is interested on buying a set of Arrow...I want to sell mine), so I just bought this second hand ones in a pretty good condition and now is when I need help from the "specialists".
How do I do it...? Just drill through the endholes as deep as the drill bit goes? How would you do it? I maybe take them where they have the propper tools (winch) to make this job as nice as possible.

Thanks

drilled baffles usually end up disappointing people with regard to the sound. but anyway you just drill holes in the internal baffle (from the back hole in the pipe) with a really long drill bit. there's no science to it-- only very few people do it because it isn't that great of an idea and the sound is usually pretty lousy.

Thanks for the answer ride...

I dont really know how its going to be at the and...thats why I'm not making it on my baffles, but in another set which I just paid quite cheap...

Does anyone made that on a Brutale...maybe you're right but...I would always have this on my mind if I dont do it

Can you remove the baffles a put less packing around them? Or no packing at all?

Might be better than putting holes in something you might want to sell later.

That would be ideal but there is no way of opening the baffels...I just made one hole on each one of the baffels today...just on the part of the silencer closer to the end of them...I'll put them up this saturday...will let you know the result...

Thanks everyone...

Don't do it. The day will come when you will need the original exhaust. Suck it up and get an Arrow stubby or some other muffler or system. Or keep it stock till you can afford it.

I did the holes and...what a deception. There is no difference at all so waste of time, waste of money and upset...so I think Im going to the arrow until I get bored of them and then back to the originals...

So if someone wants a set of original baffles drilled for 120 euros...I can ensure there is no difference....if you see a difference I'll give your money back...
