has anyone drilled the holes for the rear fender into the swing arm? Or is there another fender out there that doesnt require the drilling?

Indeed

I have too and have put thread inserts in the holes to avoid using those stupid rubber grommets. Just make sure that this is definitely the mudguard you want to use.

MV Corse hugger instructions include direction on drilling holes in early models. Not so difficult.

Mine is chromed and don't have any holes on the swing arm, any other ways to mount the rear hugger? Any hugger out there which does not require drilling holes?

You could try a bead of silicone to fix it so you don't have to drill.
Personaly I wouldn't like drilling into the swingarm.

I had to on my early 05 F4. Measure thrice, drill once. If you have an Oro, that would be measure frice, drill once.
