Hi everyone, new to the mv family but need to ask a few things and hope ive posted in the correct place lol.
I have bought a new Dragster RC and very nice it is too. Just done 350 miles but have a couple of issues if anyone can help?
1 the lower left side of the frame has a very rough finish to the point where you cannot wipe it clean with a cloth because it rips it and sticks to the frame.
Its only the lower part, the other side is smooth.
Also the steering damper doesn't seem to adjust, probably a warranty issue but not wondering if anyone has had a issue with these?
Last thing can anyone give some advise on suspension adjustments? The rear is very stiff and has no sag at all.
Thank you for any comments.

Hello @Paul2580 and welcome to the family !! Why don't you make an introductory post in the "New Members" section?
Where in the UK are you located? Please add that to your profile information.

Can't explain your surface finish. Maybe someone else here can. Also not familiar with the steering damper.
As for suspension.....it is all very adjustable and there should be explanations in your owner manual. The rear shock pre-load may be too tight, not allowing proper sag. I would suggest you seek out a local suspension specialist and get them to set your bike up for your weight and riding style.

Here is an excellent book that I own. Suggested reading if you are a DIY kind of person:

Welcome,

Here is a link where you can find your service book regarding your suspension settings:

Regarding the frame, it should be gloss black. If it's a 2nd hand bike it could be rough because the previous owner used something abrasive to clean it or perhaps some chemical. Try cleaning with WD-40 and see what happens.

Hi Thanks for the replies, it is new and only done 400 miles. Will take some photos of the bike over the weekend and post them up.
Thank you
