Hello,

i am having trouble finding any sort of brake lines for this bike... does anyone know where i can find something like HEL or other brands?

For my F4 i just measured and got them made up. Although on the f4 they are braised anyway

okay cool, any suggestions on where to get one made for a reasonable price?

Hel will do them, most decent race shops will to e.g PDQ etc. Where are you based?

Im based up in Inverness, scotland. there is literally nothing up around me who would do it locally, haha.

Ah, one way is to remove your lines and send them off and they can be copied from that, but that would mean you lose your lines and bike for a few weeks. That or buy a set from Ebay (£50) and get them copied.

What do you want from the new brake lines?

The reason I ask is they are already decent lines (not like the old days) if its just a colour change, you can get the heatshrink and mod yours

here is the catalog from spiegler, the guys are usually present at any major bike shows (a bit tough right now) and make them on the spot to your requirements.... if you order via the US, they hit you over here with some a hefty import tax and duty....

Had good service from Venhill Engineering Manchester.
Their brake lines are really high quality and look good on the bike.
Try a phone call, have found them very helpful and a quick delivery of orders.

Damn! I never thought of that. I have purchased HEL lines for precisely that reason!!:rolleyes:
