Very sad, hopefully they will regroup. Jack was excellent at making sure things got done right.
Yes, sir, Jack took the time to care.

Gotta wonder if an investor pulled the plug. In retail in the US, this happens often. One day our supply vendors/designers are fine, next thing they vanish. Its always the same, short term investors...

Call your credit card company immediately. You may have to file a claim.
Give the following to your CC company and try to reach out to them unless your CC advises differently:

I checked my emails with Jack Carrington from DC. Thought I had a more direct email but all I have for contact is this: [email protected]

As I said, Jack has been fantastic in handling my orders and resolving issues. give him a shout at this address, hope he is still within reach...

Oh yeah, plus what Edward said ^^^

If the company was taken oven I doubt emails will be answered by any employee given they posted the new contact info on their website. Further... their IG and FB are inactive, done... which further supports the best way is through the said address.

UPDATE
I just check their website -- its totally down and the connection is NOT secure!

I found this link that still works for only one page (best not to sign in for sake of security): https://designcorse.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/signin?return_to=https://designcorse.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000525265-Are-all-products-sold-by-Design-Corse-street-legal-

Thanks all for the responses. I did send an email yesterday to the support email but received the generic message back that is shown on the main website. I also left a voicemail at the 'insolvency agency' phone number but no call back. So to me it looks like they are completely done with this business regardless of if they received payment for existing orders.

Regarding a claim, I made the payment direct through my PayPal balance, but it looks like there is some recourse through PayPal. They require 30 days without receiving the items purchased before a claim can be filed.

Thanks again for the responses!

You are welcome. It's a volatile world for small businesses and customers alike.

Looks like I'm not the only one that got the shotty workmanship that finally shut down Design Corse. Poorly run company apparently if they were bought out or filed for bankruptcy.

They had been running for quite a few years, they gave good service and friendly advice and had really nice hard to get parts. The fact their gone is a real loss to me as a long term owner.

I've ordered a part from Design Corse as recently as last October. I was extremely happy with the overall service, including excellent parts selection and prompt delivery.

Owning a small business is difficult enough, but I imagine the difficulty is amplified serving an ever-shrinking niche market catered to high-end motorcycle aftermarket components.

The closing of a long-serving business is a sad thing to see. I look forward to supporting other niche shops out there by buying parts from them in the future.
