Gave the chain a clean and lube last night after a quick spin and noticed a good amount of play in the sprocket carrier.

And so I need some cush rubbers again! Can anyone recommend me a place to in the UK that will deliver quickly?

Bennetts?

Or replace with the old style, 50 to 80 quid off ebay. Means no more rubber replacements.

I'll pm you later today, just seen msg

OK, so a 1st gen cush drive it is then.

To make sure I buy the right part, would somebody mind pointing me to a specific advert or ebay link?

Or a pic of what I need to buy.

Thanks

Yes. When MV went away from the round cush drive rubbers, the system degraded quicker.
Good to know as I just mounted one. But I check my stuff regulary so should always be okay.

Yes, Erik, there are people getting 3,000mi to a set of 2nd Gen cush drive rubbers
On my 1st Gen I'm coming up on 39,000mi with NO WEAR!:grin2:

Here are the things I see.......look at the last picture carefully......the 10mm hex is GONE!!!!
You think maybe a little too tight>:)
Check the reverse taper on the head......they stretched it lolol

Erik, why do you think I don't trust others to even sharpen a pencil?

Yup, UK seems to be the best source at present to purchase replacement cush-rubber blocks.

Growing number of Gen-2 owners thinking and converting to the Gen-1B sprocket carrier (or after-market cush combination).

e.g. (just an example)

Cheers
I'm one of those Gen-2 guys that went to a Gen 1 aftermarket from BDS.
