I'm trying to find a set of cush drives for my brutale.
I noticed some for sale saying that they were for all
brutales from 99 to 09. But yet, when I look in the parts
catalog, the 750 and 910 lists a different part number.
Is there a difference between the two? And do they all
have the steel outer ring as apposed to being all rubber
with the exception of the bolt?

round rubber thingies?

Rick;
the early bikes had the rubbers pressed into the sprocket....later ones have a quick change sprocket carrier with the rubbers pressed in and a flat sprocket
that said, never seen a worn out set either

if yours are worn out, which i doubt....
check Ebay.....buy the whole thing for way less than 2 rubber inserts

:drummer:

i just don't have any spares right now......sorry

Rick, what do you have a 750 or 910 ?

The rubbers definitely do wear out or at least go bad with age, I'd gone through 2 sets over 8 years or so.
When the rubbers start to die the sprocket/carrier moves in directions it shouldn't. Let it get bad enough and the hub takes a grinding.

My 750 had the old style sprocket and carrier in one and now has a quick change. They both use the rubbers with metal around them.
I'll be taking the 910 apart this weekend to put a new hub in so I can tell you if they are the same then.

Cheers
Rich
