When looking at different sites I see some are 34/34. Others are 32/36. I also see P4 and GP4-RR. I think I might just take the calipers off the 1098 and swap with the MV.

34/34 and 32/36 refer to the diameter of the caliper pistons in mm.
P4 has four pads, one per piston.

For the money what is the best caliper to get? Not what is the most but for what you get? What is best for the street rider which likes to do some track days?

1098 calipers.... just buy a set off ebay or from a forum member (post a want add and see what happens)

why did the 1098 base get mono blocs? I guess I would thought the S or R. I thought the 312 had mono on them also but I was told different thought I read they did any confirm?
