Would anyone know the the correct tightening torque for the oil drain plug for the dragster 800?

On the 675 engine manual it says 40nm, and the 675, rivale and brutale it says 25nm. Which is correct, 25nm or 40nm?

Wouldn't want to over tighten the plug and cram the sump.

From my experience with other bikes with alloy oil sumps using steel drain plugs. I would use a new crush/sealing washer and torque to 25 Nm.
You could also drill the drain plug and use safety wire, too.
If you plan on a track day, safety wiring the drain plugs, will be mandatory.

Amish,

I would also go for 25nm
Together with Donsy in your other thread, that makes 3 for the 25nm

Make sure you don't overtorque !
