So, the manual recomends AGIP ECO Permanent coolant. This stuff isn't the easiest to get here in the USA. I've never seen it at any store here in Orange County, CA.

Anyway, I may need to run Water Wetter in the MV for a track day, so when I'm ready to put the ethylene glycol/H20 mix back in, I'd like to use this stuff:

I've used it for a lot of other motors and it's pretty good. It is silicate free, which is good for Al water pumps.

Any reason why I shouldn't go with the Havoline coolant? What coolants are being used by forum members?

Alex, talk to the service dept. at Pro Italia and ask what they recommend. I think as long as you use a coolant WITH NO SILICATES you will be ok.

I've used engine ice for the past, hmm, maybe 1.5-2yrs? I flush with three cycles of vinegar/distilled - each until a number first appears on the display at the water temp gauge before putting in a fresh batch. Probably overkill but I've never had problems.
