I really enjoyed the last ride! Just not into getting up at dawn for a Marcus morning but if thats what people want to do I`m sure I`ll have a great time.
Marcus Dairy in Danbury CT is probably and hour from NYC, take what ever road gets you to I84 and head east. The plan is to then ride Duchess county. I guess we will be following Matty.
OK... Works for me... Just send me a PM with detials and times and all that good stuff... Oh and i hope there are good roads up that way? I don't want to look at houses that i wished i could have? lol...
im all in for a ride but i hate hate hate leading. Ill have to shoot my buddies a message and see what the good routes are...maybe they will come along and lead
Instead of Duchess county how about route 7? Ride down 202 to Marcus, meet up and head back up on 7. Anyone meeting us at Marcus can ride up 7 and then back on 202 or however they want. We can stop near Lime Rock for lunch.
If you feel strongly about it, I could lead that one. Although I still don't feel I have enough riding experience leading a ride.
drmasis, we have not set a time yet. We are waiting to see what the weather is going to do. Matty suggested early, I was thinking around 9am. Anyone have any prefrence?
Now it looks like I cannot make it. My son's baseball tournament which was rained out today because of the flooded fields has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
If I am not there, it means I cannot make it.
Sorry guys.
Looks like I am in again!!!
My loving wife has agreed to take my son to the game so that I may ride.
See in the morning, weather permitting (which does not look promising right now).
It looks like that what ever rain is forcast will be over by 9am.
What if we meet later and ride later? How long can you ride? Since I will be coming south on 202, I would meet everyone at the intersection of 7 and 202 in New Milford at around 1000. (it's probably 1/2 hour from Danbury to that part of New Milford if you leave Marcus at 0930-0945).
