Hi All,

Does anybody know what the colour code of name is from the Paint colour on this Bike??

I need to take my bike to the painter soon but i need the right colouor for the '59 centomila.

I came across an Italian company, Lechler, with a list of paint codes for historical motorcycles.

I asked a similar question some time ago and according to Dorian MV used different shades of red.

I also got this reply on an Italian site:

Poi si può discutere sul colore. Io ho sentito l'esperto del museo e mi ha dato un codice FIAT rosso 168 (secondo classificazione Max Meyer). Un esperto ASI mi ha dato invece il colore rosso C8055 LECHLER (ovvero RAL3020), che è un po' diverso dal precedente.

If I were you I would write to the people at the MV Agusta museum. Very nice and helpful they are.
And to be really sure ask your paint shop to show a sample of the different kinds of red.

I've got a Centomila myself. I haven't repainted the whole bike, just the battery box. When I'm home again I'll look for the code. I don't know it by heart.
