My concern is the the total weight x the distance from where it's connected under the seat.
The bracket that holds my rear shock adjuster knob broke, the replacement was considerably more robust. If that bracket can snap then the mounting point of your tail tidy would seem to be a weak point. "A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link", as the saying goes.

How many holes did you have to drill in your tail section and how are the wires run?
