I have seen people using it on f4's, not brutales
What happens is the engine can run cooler as it is radiating less heat, but exhaust tips may colour different as of the heat goiing out the back.
to personal, you need to do the whole lot as else you have colour differnces, pipes, collector of slip on.
I had the headers, mid-pipe, and slip ons coated with Jet-Hot. I think there's some previous threads floating around on Jet-Hot. I removed the tips and had them powder coated. In my opinion, the sterling coating of the Jet-Hot just looks better than stock. I haven't noticed much difference in engine temps, but I never paid much attention to the before and after.
Went to have a look at the new Brutale 1000RR at a local dealer last Friday, silly thing to do because now I find myself hatching all sorts of mad schemes to buy one! It is a hell of a thing!
They're getting a factory demo bike next week so I'll be taking a blast on it!
My heads still telling...
Are any of you bothered/worried about the mileage you rack up on your bikes?
The reason I ask is because there is a part of me that thinks these bikes(as with most)sell better with low mileage but there is a part of me that doesn't care, I just want to keep it and ride it and that's that.
