I am new to this forum but already notice a few Aussies amongst you all. Im wondering if any of you are interested in meeting for a ride based from Sydney in the next month or so.

Am open to suggestions, possibly a run up the old Pacific Highway to the Central Coast, up to Wollombi then out to the Putty Road for a run back to Windsor area.

Would be great to get a few MV's together, take a few photos and have a good time.

Sounds good. I'm at the old road at least once a month. I don't mind doing putty road but prefer starting from Windsor and finish off at the Old road.

A very early start for me is best, ie 6-7am on a saturday or sunday.

I'm free this weekend 3rd or 4th of February?

We can meet up at McGraws Hill Maccas next to the Ford Dealership?

I am keen on that. Minime's route is good for me. I am out at Dural.
As long as no double demerit weekend!

Ok heres my suggestion, please feel free to edit or change this route.

This sunday is perfect for me. Depending on the weather of course!!! Bureau of Meteorology says early showers - 18-30degrees.

Hmm how about meet at McGraws Hill Maccas at 8.00am and leave for Putty Road by say 8.30am?

Stop at the half way cafe stop by 9.30am-10am ish.

Fill up at the petrol station before Wollombi and have lunch at Wollombi pub, then head off to the Old road. Should be at the old road by say 1.30pm - 2pm. Do a couple of laps of the Old road and head off home.

Or we can start much earlier and finish off by about midday?

The only part I hate about this route is the 500m of unsealed road between the petrol stop and Wollombi pub.

I am fine with that. The unsealed road is OK just grin and bear it! The guy from the Central Coast it may be a big ask to meet at McGrath's Hill?. If not we could meet at Mt White, and go onto Wollombi?

I am Ok either way.

Im good for that arrangement, ie meeting down there and going up via the Putty Road. The unsealed area isn't too bad. Am happy with the start times as discussed and Id probably peel off in the arvo from pie in the sky or road warriors.

Where is maccas at mcgaths hill? shouldn't be too hard to find.

Hmm, sorry my spelling mistake. The Maccas is at Mcgraths Hill, it the corner of Windsor road and Curtis Road.

The Maccas is right next to the big Ford dealership which you can't miss.

As suggest by MVASyd, I am ok as well with meeting up at Mt White at the pie in the sky in the morning.

If we meet up at Mt White in the morning, guys from the Central Coast has a long trek back home?

OK so it looks like 8.00am at Maccas at McGraths Hill this Sunday....is that Right?

We have 4 starters plus me thats 5.

There is a service station up about 100 metres from Maccas we could fill up there?

For those coming from the Central Coast etc, bets to go via the Galston Gorge, and head out the back of Dural and Kenthurst, past Annangrove race track, it is a nice run.

Yep done the Putty loop many times. Did it on the MV about 2 months ago (6 times on the MV) with some mates on Ducati's. I hear the cops are getting very active so we will have to be carefull. See you then.

COPS ARE GETTING VERY ACTIVE!!!!

Well late last year I got pulled over on the Old road because I was wearing full leathers and LOOKED like I was going racing even though I was going about 50km/h in a 60km/h zone? So what do the cops expect me to do, ride in the nude or squid?

So could this be a case of discrimination???

Anyway I think we're mature enough to know how to control our right hand.

Lets hope the weather holds up for sunday, that unsealed road becomes really muddy and slippery when it rains.
