I put the MV in the garden today before I went out for a ride to do tyre pressures etc. As I put it in place my freshly polished steed slipped off balance and hit the deck.
Broken brake lever and a fairing scuff. Chris at Xbikes fitted some crash mushrooms for me which saved lots damage to the seat etc. I will have to paint the fairing and buy a lever. I called the local MV places and no one has a lever.
Chris to the rescue again and one is the post!

This may sound crude but why not smooth off the end of the lever and keep it? I've always thought mine were a bit long. Is that ball end still a safety requirement?

Well, as for me, I've only got one, and I've never been told it was too long......:jerkoff:

You guys make me laugh!
Lee I thought the ball end was for racing anyway. I can still use it it just looks untidy. I'll wait till the one turns up from Chris.
Thanks for your sympathy and comments about my ball end
