With only 16 ~20 riders, we can be pretty flexible on groups and qualifications, as well as rider gear. It is our day and our track....the main thing is to have fun and not fall down......NO AMBULANCE RIDES !!!

Serious go fast guys should NOT have glycol coolant in their bikes....just sayin.

Also......serious go fast guys can't be on track when us slow pokes are out there. It's very scary to have a shark chumming amongst the minnows.

Any coolant spills on the track will ruin our day (and may cost a clean up charge).....of course, the same goes for oil.

You must decide for your self if you think you will push your limits and possibly tip over.

Technically, we should ALL be running non-glycol fluid in our cooling systems.....How likely do you think you are to push it and have a possible low-side? I ride on the track for fun only, but have still managed the occasional ooops. I have water in my track bike. Never spilled any even when I fell down hard.
If you must, try to crash off the track.....

Surprise guest instructor???

Not gonna be a problem, Randy. I think we are a small enough group and friends enough that we won't need to be out stuffing "novice" riders in the turns....:jsm:

Speaking of which, a rumor is that a certain professional racer may join our fun to demonstrate what fast REALLY is, and to offer some coaching for anyone who would like it. :smoking:

Randy, she will not be allowed on track with you unless you ask her!!

That certain lady rumored to be coming is the ONLY woman to ever win a professional road race at Daytona, and is the first woman to ever win an AMA pro road race, period!! :yo:

She is a consummate professional and genuinely nice person to boot!!! I am sure you will enjoy meeting her if she makes it. Might even come for Friday's party....

Check out this link if you want to learn more. http://elenamyers.com/

Accompanying the young lady may be Brian Stokes, instructor and owner of Jason Dislavo's riding school: http://www.disalvospeedacademy.com/instructors/

Elena Myers and Brian Stokes (partner with Jason DiSalvo) will be attending Monday's event. Elena is planning to attend Friday's dinner as well. They are both extremely engaging and very nice people. I'm thrilled. They're both planning on riding on Monday, with a mindset of having fun. They've agreed to coach a little if anyone might want it. If not, they'll show us how super humans ride. This is gonna be fun.

It's not too late to join in.....

Sunday AM....depart for NW Ga ride......approx 130 miles. When? Not sure.....I'll take a vote on Saturday. Maybe a little later. Some will be going to Barber Museum. They need to leave early in order to get in a good visit. Barber is 3 hours away.

Sunday afternoon will be spent loading and prepping for Lil Tally. Some will depart for Alabama Sunday evening, some (like me) plan to depart very early Monday morning for the track day. Sunday evening will be beer and pizza or burgers and dogs.
