Next disaster with the bike.
The head light glass fell right out at a stop light - I breaked pretty hard, and the glass just left the bike and chrushed to the ground! Checked the construction and the glass was just fixed with glue (?) :shocker:
As always with these things it is the "not being able to ride" time that is the critical issue.. Therefor i will try to take care of this myself, instead of waiting for the dealership getting its fingers unplugged.

1) Does anyone (because of some strange reason) have a head light assemble for the Brutale for sale? (guess one have to change the whole package?)

2) Is there any difference between the headlight assembly for the red and the black Brutale?

It's not mine, but it's for sale. Now... anyone got a rider's seat for a Brutale, any condition?
Thanks emmvee,
Saw that one, its the reason why i asked about differences between red and black Brutales. (Seller specificly writes that this is for a black Brutale)

THOMAS, IT SHOULD NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE WHAT COLOR THE BIKE IS AS FAR AS A HEAD REPLACEMENT FOR THE BRUTALE HEAD LIGHT.

Emmve, You May Want To Check Out The Mv Sale Column In The Forum Page. I Believe Triple Seven In This Forum Is Selling A Stock Brutale Seat Along With Other Parts, Which He Had Replaced With A Gladio Kit.

I just got mine in today......my brother was riding my B750 and the glass fell right out and shattered. Corse Superbikes got it replaced for me under warranty! It took a few weeks to get one so you might want to pick up the one thats on Ebay. Gotta give props to Corse......they have got to be the best dealer out there! :yo:

Yeah!! Just saw your thread about it: It dated from 04-13-2006!! Did it take that long to have it replaced? :jsm: Guess the e-bay one is the best shot, so that the summer is not ruined!

I wasnt in a hurry as long as I got it replaced for free......lucky for me I have 2 Brutales (750 and 910 Gladio)
It looks kind of stupid without the headlight glass in, but you can ride it that way.
It did take a while to get. I had to send the broken headlight in so they could send it back to MV too. Id definately pick up the one on Ebay if I were you. Yours should still be under warranty, so you could always sell it when it comes in and get your money back.

You can save yourself the money...get some RTV sealant, and put it over the glue. The headlight will stay put after using RTV sealant. So long as your glass isn't broken.....

Thats actually a good idea, rsduce! Will probably do it that way!
(This means downtime perhaps 1-2 weeks instead of ...well I guess...6 weeks or so) guess i will consume some beer instead of riding during them weeks.. :smoking:
