So I'm contemplating trying to source a Cannonball kit for my 1090. Has anyone ridden one with the kit fitted before? Thoughts?

My intent will be to stick with my Tamburini Corse full Ti exhaust and have a Microtech ECU fitted/tuned.

I rode a 1090RR with the cannonball kit, it's sick.

To me, it's way too much power for how I actually use my Brutale (street). I couldn't justify the $5000 for added power that I'd never use . Furthermore, I see cannon ball Brutale's out there for sale, and the cost of the kit doesn't seem to do anything for the sell price.

I was under the impression the kit came with a new F4 head, cams, exhaust and the race ECU. So if you plan on keeping your exhaust and going Microtec, your going to have some expensive parts left over. Might be easier, cheaper and better to find the right F4 head and cams, get the Microtec and tune it.

David Hache had one for sale at HRH, shout if you want contact details. From memory it was just the head and required parts to go with it, no ecu, no exhaust. I talked to him about it but couldn't quite justify it for my daily commuter!

Cheers guys. I'll do some more research and work out whether it'll be smarter just to try and source the engine parts separately or whether I should just buy the full kit and offload the parts I don't use.
