There is a short write up in last weeks MCN re the above;

'MV Agusta revealed a concept bike last week at the Tokyo Motorcycle show. Called the Brutale Aero America, it's a retro-styled version of the Brutale with a half fairing and a single end can instead of the stock bikes twin exhausts. Designed for the retro-mad Japanese market. If its popular it could reach production or a conversion kit may be offered to Brutale owners.'

There is a small photo, the paint scheme is red/white/blue like the Brutale america. Sorry don't have a scanner to show it to you.

Also in the same edition, there's a larger write up on the F41000R. According to MCN, the power is up to 174 BHP and there are various ignition and valve mods over the current S version. Top speed should be about the same as the 1000S as the gearing has been changed. :)

It would be nice to have some triple digit wind protection, but the front sure is ugly! :shocker:
Why not buy an f4 if you want a farings? Doesnt this defeat the purpose of a naked bike?

Sure it would be more beautifull with another paint sheme.

A F4 with a more comfortable position like the brutale but with more relative wind protection. Why not ?

I'm not so enthousiast.

I think MV try to do more and more with the existing bike ...I think also that we are now at the end of the concept.

Is MV afraid to try something totaly different ?

Come on, Massimo, show us once again what you can do !

Thanks James, Do you know if they are just going to be supplied in Black or will there be other colour scheme options?

Agreed Olive....I see James detailed comments re changes with the 1000R, but a new concept is needed to keep the marque alive, not just another rehash of what is a brilliant design

That has got to be the ugliest thing ever produced by MV....that half fairing looks like an R1 missing plastics from the side, and that front is just hideous...

I don't like the front either, they've made the headlight too deepset and oval and it's also disproportionate to the fairing and screen.

I can't remeber which thread it was but I think it was piglioni who posted that MV were releasing a new bike (later this year or early next?) but it was not specified in what catagory.
