Hi guys I'd like some honest opinions I've got a 2014 brutale 800 with abs etc and have been offered a really good deal by my dealer on a stradale, now I love my brutale but my wife comes out with me occasionally and finds it a little uncomfortable after say 40 mins of riding, now my question is really I don't want to lose any of the fun the brutale offers me or any of the ease of filtering when in traffic so would the stradale take this away or is it virtually as good a bike just a little more refined? Opinions please :brutale::brutale:
Posted in b3 section also as no one seems to have ridden both or has an opinion as yet thanks!

Hi

My name is One, No One
(ancient oriental lineage)

I test rode a
B3 800 for almost two years and 36 000 mi

Recently a
Stradale for 8 month and a bit over 10 000 mi

The Stradale is a sort of Turismo Veloce with a Rivale look and feel.
It's longer than the Brute
no need to anticipate a wheelie on each gear change.
A lot less power than the Brute full blast,
but still more veloce than the Veloce (same engine specs).

Filtering in traffic well .... depends ... define traffic.

On this stretch

the Stradale is marginally faster than the B3 800!

Also much funnier.
Longer shocks travel,
hypermotard attitude, shoulders in line above the handlebars
playful :drummer:

Compared with the Brutale driven with the knees gripping under the tank edge, elbows resting hard on it.

Ditch the original saddle.
At about 18 stones t'was a real PITA -true sense-

The soft bags made by Givi for MV are ... :) amazing.

I bought one after owning a b3 800 for several months and I'm more than happy with it

I traded in my Brutale 800 for one a couple weeks ago, fancied something a bit different, something the Mrs will be comfortable on (hopefully) and some luggage options for a day/weekend away.
Got it for a great deal to as it was the dealers ex demo that hadn't been used :)
