Hi All!
Not sure if anyone had similar issue, but I broke that plastic bit... Part number from cat: 80A0A1558. I live in Sydney/AU, there is only one place that I can buy it (a hose, plastic bit and they want $115 for it. Moreover they don't supply just the plastic part, so...)
If anyone know where to buy this, I would really appreciate some info.

cheers!

PS: This is for Brutale 2005

Hi and welcome to the forum, sorry it's with a problem. It is a good idea to change all the fittings to metal ones. You are in Sydney so there is a company called RS Components Ph 1300656636 in Wetherill Park. They sell the CPC metal fuel fittings.I recently bought a female fitting for my triumph (same fittings as MV) and it was $37.84 delivered to my workshop on the NSW/Queensland border. The male fitting you broke looks like this in metal.CPC Part No. LC23006.

Ok, I do have two very used metal connectors, they need new orings but I have a bag of those too (thanks Noel).

Do you want to borrow them while you get some from the source mentioned above ?

Let me know and I can drop them off tomorrow on my way to/from work. PM or email me an address or you can collect them from Pyrmont during the day.

Cheers
Rich

I picked up some new ones from my Ducati/Triumph dealer, they apparently are the same fittings as on the Triumph.

Well after a visit to leaonidas58 last night I was able to help him out. One of the problems was that the connector had broken and left part of it in the tank side of the quick release. So the part he was showing people (pictured up top) was confusing the hell out of everyone.

A certain Sydney dealer also managed to supply him with a new connector, but I've nfc what it's for as it's nothing like the 750/910 connector!

Anyway I left him with my two spare metal connectors, one on the bike and one to take to the Triumph shop round the corner so he can get new ones.

Fingers crossed he can find the rest of the bits to put the bike back together and get out for a ride this weekend :brutale:
