Greetings Folks,
As I have retired from fulltime racing, I have found a renewed interest in doing some engine work.
I have several motors that I have been waiting to build for quite some time and with having moved to a new house with a great new shop in process, I am feeling more confident about doing work in a more clinical environment than I have had for the last couple of years.
Topping the list of engines I have wanted to work on is the F3 800 engine. You may have seen posts of my F3 675 engine builds, and I am interested in playing with an 800cc version. No big reason, I do not have another F3.
Knowing that there have been many failures of these engines with valves dropping, I am wondering if anyone has a lump that they pulled and replaced sitting in the corner of the garage? If you do, please shoot me a message and maybe, collectively, we might be able to come to a deal on it.
Not willing to pay much because the parts and services to repair them are so damn expensive but my plan is to share whatever accumulated knowledge I acquire with the forum and other troubled F3 owners.
