Try and stick to one brand.Motors of any kind don't like different oils.

I use Silkolene Pro 4 of the relevant grade in all my engines.

On user manual it's write which oil you can use. People are going stressed for which is better, every oil with the same parameters are ok.
Agip 4T racing 10W-60 is perfect for the bike. Stop with trade mark paranoid

When you change oil, the new one have to be with the same characteristcs. All with the same char. are good, bike doesn't look at trade mark, that's only owner's paranoia

No stress or paranoid happening.Oil threads always cause exciting discussions. Like
you said as long as the oil you use meets or exceeds the recommendations of the manufacturer. ;)

Motul 10w60 in the F4 Motul 10w40 in the Brutale as per MV and best advice from the community on here. Thanks Ed :)
What manual says 10W40 for any MV?

Just out of curiosity, why did you go with 10W40?
I am aware of the viscosity requirements in the manual which is why I called attention to that.
Others may see this thread and think the manual specifies 10W40 when it does not.
