Hello MV Owners.

I have always lusted after the F4 and now I have tested the new one
I am weighing up all my possibilities.
Would love a Tri Collore but it doesnt look like MV will be making another one anytime soon.

I was told it is possible to order a black bike with a red frame ( Thats what I want ) or any combination of frame/fairing colour from the factory but the key word I was given was " But You'll have to WAIT.."

Anyone had any similar ideas? What do you think the wait time would be?

Also, if I take the plunge and get the decat manifold and ECU will the bike have instant power off the line?
The one I tested felt like it had secondary butterfly's till 5,000rpm.
This I presume is down to the cat and associated mapping yes?

I too wanted the black with red frame and wanted to hold out to see if they came out with one as an option. I got tired of waiting and just got the all black. It looks really good in person. Red frame would be cool, but you could always get the black and paint the frame or get the grey and paint the fairings (since that has a red frame). Personally, I would hate to wait on MV to make you your own color variant (if that is possible). You probably will be waiting a long time!

Anyway, I never had ridden the bike with the stock ECU/exhaust, but with the RG4 and ECU it is very smooth and no hiccups whatsoever even at the low rpms. Very user friendly cruising around town, but a ton of power on tap when you want it.

I have just been reading your 'close to a decision thread'
Hope mine dont last that long! Ha Ha
I only want the decat pipe not the full sys. £1000 vs £2700.
However...I am waiting till Nov to see what Bologna has created...
Still got my ZZR-1400 ( Fly's out, PCIII ) & a big trip planed soon.
Getting back on her after the F4 felt like a Goldwing!
Big difference from sport/sport touring. I forgot just how much!
