Hi all,

Sorry if that has been answered before, but I've not found proper info yet (I may not have search hard enough in the forum's posts, I agree :) .

I've noticed that 8000A6700 pencil coils are not available anymore as OEM -- spare part websites (e.g. Evolutionbike, etc.) all list it as unavailable. No luck either after a couple of calls to (local) MV dealers, who all seem to show a 'careful' silence about that.

Some search on the Internet for Beru 0040104002 or apparently equivalent ZS378 also shows them as out-of-stock.

Is there any other equivalent part, or are we deemed to keep fingers crossed that the ones currently in place won't fail?

This is great information. Thanks for this -- and sorry to have asked something already answered. Should have had a deeper look.

Anyway, this is not good news that medium-long term OEM ignition coils availability is apparently a repeated issue with MV Agusta...

Unfortunately there are still several ads online but the item is no longer available. If anyone has the reel let me know.

Given that the F4 has all the sensors from Fiat Punto, I thought that the coils probably too. I googled the images and yes, the coils visually look the same, except for the mounting method. The Magnetti Marelli 060740303010 coil should arrive soon, after the test I will say whether it fit or not, but my forecast is 90% that it will do.
