as title says,

desperate to fix this problem as ive not got to work yet!

ive looked on mvfaq and its not very clear or am i being thick?

me thinks it maybe a air leak now as i cant balance the tbs, they only balance with bleed screws 1/2 turn out, if i set 1.5 out i cant get 3-4 to synce so i think the likage is out

cheers

do not adjust the throttles on 3 & 4 only 1 & 2 or you will have to reset TPS
measure the opening of the blades of 3 & 4 with a narrow tipped feeler gauge

make 1 & 2 the same with the linkage screw

for balancing I use a Uni-Syn but you must plug the holes in the air horns for it to work

1st check the vacuum lines and caps then the intake hose clamps

I replaced the Phillips screws in the clamps with Allen heads and use a ball end Allen wrench

way easier:naughty:

hi chaps, cheers, i pulled tb's and used a 1mm drill bit to open 1-2 tb and measured the 3-4 using the same size bit, then adjusted the linkage so that the butterflies shut alll the way, i can feel drag from the butterflies, i used some sealer to make sure the tbs sealed
good idea on the hex screws will do that tonight, my tps is still at 2.3

i still cant get the tbs to sync using the 1.5 on #2, from what ive read i need to use my syncer to 2-3 and adjust using linkage? and then sync 1-4 using bleeders?

i was told to do this with out airbox and connect air sensor, do i need to block the bleed vlaves as i get to 85 degrees and vapour starts to appear??

cheers again
