Al, My thought was if the casings would fit earlier frame, but as a basic engine lump and use original gen 1 ecu/clocks/throttle bodies/coils from a 1000cc bike. Didn't spot the cam sensor difference, so good call there, although my project i am using loom ecu and throttle bodies etc on a 910r gen 1, i will look at the cam sensor issue as i have the pressure sensor still on the the loom. depending on how much of a 'donor' you had , i suppose you could use entire loom ecu throttle bodies on later engine and fit to a gen 1 rolling chassis...
At least for 2010+ F4 engines, you are pretty restricted to using the early gen throttle bodies unless you are willing to make frame modifications and a custom air box lower. The tss system is much taller than the early tss found on the tambo and cc. It could be made to work but I lost motivation and just ran mine with gen 1 throttle bodies and no tss.
