Running the tools over my B3 800 this morning and I found why my gear changes were becoming clunky and less consistent.

The gear lever pivot bolt was almost out and the lever had about 5mm play side to side and on an angle. Not sure what the torque spec is but its damn tight now.

Check your bolt on the bottom of the pic (blurry photo)

Undignified end to maiden voyage..

That out-of-sight linkage nut fell off my then new (2014) F3675 as I rode home from the dealer. Had to crawl rest of way in 1st...
Loctite employed on its replacement and I now always carry a spare.

BTW this is my first post

It's a nylock nut so shouldn't need loctite, but it won't hurt. I'd drill a hole though it and put a clip through it.
On the B3 it's a hex bolt mate. No sign of any nylock nut.
Unless you're talking about the linkage ;)

Ah okay, picture is a bit fuzzy, so that is an Allen head bolt going through the rose joint turning into a thread on the other side, Loctite is about your only option, unless you can do some fancy drilling to get a safety wire through the bolt somewhere.

Or you can drill the bolt head and safety wire that.

I'm talking about item #15 mate.
Think I'll keep a regular eye on it and see if it has a habit of winding out.
It may not have been torqued in PD.
