I just read in PERFORMANCE BIKES MAGAZINE ( MAY 2016) of an Aussie team winning a twins championship . Racing against Ducati 1199 Panagales, Aprilia RSV 1000s , KTM RC8R ect .
TEAM IRVINGS VINCENT( yes Vincent) Built a Vincent with double loop chassis Ohlins superbike forks , rear shock, brembo brakes ..all modern components THE ENGINE, an AIR COOLED,STROKED, 1600cc VINCENT PUSHROD v-twin with 4 valves per cylinder 13:1 compression with Motec engine management. Horsepower 190hp and 145lbs torque @7250RPM

To MATCH the modern high tech machines of Ducati,Aprilia and KTM with an 1950s tech engine with a turbocharger would be a impressive feat . But to do so Non aspirated is just...AMAZING. Then to top that WIN a championship against a field of the latest modern high tech V-twins ? Its one of the most impressive builds ive ever seen in my LIFE.

Performance bikes magazine didnt get into the particulars of the championship stats , Maybe DONSEY has heard of the team but DONSEY if you ever meet the team tell them they have a Fan that is in AWE of there engineering prowess ...Jake

BTW This 1600cc Aircooled Vincent V-twin Is a 50 degree V-twin engine = Much like Harley V-twin.
(on single crank pin BOTH pistons raise and fall TOGETHER) again to get this design to produce 190hp and 145LBs torque is AMAZING
