Thought you might be interested

Just finished installing the Arrow Exhaust System (mid Pipe and Mufflers) on my 750.

Installation Time - 2 hours
Fitment - 9 on a scale from 1 to 10
Finish - 8 (still like the looks of the stock pipes better)

And now most important SOUND:

With baffles it sounds slightly deeper than stock.

The baffles are removable. Very simple system with just a clip ring to be removed and the baffles come right out.

W/o baffles the sound is very nice, much deeper and louder than stock.

With the stock system the sound of the airbox is dominant when shifting quickly through the gears. With the Arrows, the exhaust sound is dominant.

The provided EPROM is not good. The engine idles pretty rough and there is very noticable popping on decelleraration so it seems to run a little lean.
No noticable gain in power (well maybe I have to ride her a little longer).

I guess a Power Commander and a custom map will be neccessary.

Tried to upload a sound file in the Media Section, upload seems to be
successful but it doesn't show up in the list - am I missing something?

Hey 916sps,

I wouldn't count on the popping on deceleration going away....ever!

Those Arrows are pretty straight thru and open, and they popped like nuts on my S4R! Same style canister..... S4R and Brutale.

Looks good though.....congrats.

Hey, is that the stock seat? It looks suede in the pics! Nice!

Thanks for the hint Vlad.

Yes, its suede or better alcantara (the stuff they use for furniture).
I had it covered by a local upholstery shop. The guy does great work
and is pretty reasonable, I paid 80 bucks.

Original looks best - though sometimes it's cool to have something different - it's the sound that counts!

Is there any way you can take the "Arrow" billboad off the silencers? Thats my only real complaint. I like the Arrow product, just dont want to be an unpaid adverstiser.

A properly tweaked Power Commander map will get rid of almost all the popping from an open exhaust. You just need to know the trick! :smoking:

I took it apart again over the weekend and put copper paste (anti seize) on all pipe connections to seal them.
Now the popping is almost gone. Seems to have been an exhaust leak.
But I'm still looking into installing a PC.

I had the same thought but not in terms of beeing an unpaid advertiser.
For me a Italian bike needs to have a TERMIGNONI. As they are not making
one I "made" my own.
Yes, yes, I know I'm crazy.....

To answer your question, the badge is mounted with 2 rivets. I drilled them out and the badge comes right off.
Without the Termignoni emblem I would put a small rivet in each hole, doesn't look too bad.
