:stickpokeI have been trying to find out why people need to change the subframe of the brutale to an F4 unit to use F4 exhausts. I am thinking of picking up an f4 full exhaust and adapting it to my Brutale. Is there a difference in angles of the subframe or is it just Brackets. I know the F4 and the Brutale have the same frame. I wonder how different the subframes are. I know the F4 tail looks pretty rough on the Brutie for sure. Any body know if the Arrow system would work?

It has been done before.....I think you are better off sticking with the Brutale system.

Just curious but because of the width that is needed to accommodate the four tail pipes of an f4 under the smaller tail section of a brutale, has anyone come up with a two or three pipe configuration that would fit just nicely under the narrower tail of a brutale???

I am only curious about the Arrow race system. I dont want the 4 pipe set up. I dont like how you can see the top of the unfinished part of the muffler part. seems like it should be able to work if there is not too much difference in the angle the bottom of the subframe. The F4 systems seem to be better, At least the two pipe systems

Don't overlook the fact that you will be raising the COG and moving weight away from the centralized mass. This will have a negative affect on handling. Notice that most high performance bikes are moving to under engine exhausts that move mass closer to the middle and low for better handling.

If you want bling then go for it. It you want performance I would suggest the Arrow thunder shorty muffler.
