Ok, so I've been seeing a LOT of riders in World Superbike with Arlen Ness leather suits. Bayliss and Fonzi both use them.

Here in the USA, I've never see them. Is it related to the Arlen Ness custom motorcycle builder? Did they just get a license for the name?

Anyone have a set? What do you think?

Just wanting to know. I'm still sticking with my Z-Customs stuff. http://www.zcustom.com/

Is the spelling the same? I wondered about it before but kinda doubt it.

the quality is great with Z leather, but they need to update their designs and website... the suits looks like they are from the early 80s, IMHO. with that said, I may still get one of their suits next.

I never wear one of them when riding, but I've touch a one piece suit and they seems to have a very smouth leather with serious "construction" for a reasonnable price (± 600 EUR for one piece suit)

the spelling is correct.

i'm going to shoot an email off to the USA bike builder contact and see what's up. from the limited info i can find, people who have them like 'em

yeah, the z-stuff looks dated on the web site. but i suggest you make a trip to the shop in huntington beach. it's well worth it. not sure if the daughter-in-law of the owner still works there, but getting her to measure your inseam is worth the price of the suit alone! LOL.

alex

ps - nobody picked it up, but lorenzo's last name isn't 'fonzi' it's lanzi. fonzi is a nickname....

btw, neil hodgson also uses arlen ness leathers.

YEs I remember hodgson had a cool black ness suit with white piping in the Faster movie.

I have been to the Z show room, I totally agree that the suits look way better in person and the catalog and website only shows a small selections of their stuff.

Yeah, the daughter(didn't know she is in-law) is pictured in the catalog, no? it would be nice to have that Russian model/playboy playmate from their catalog do the measuring too... :naughty:
