Hiway 191 from Safford to clifton then up 191 to show low. Spend the night there and then back down the salt river canyon and into safford. The high lite of the ride is the 90+ miles of very tight and twisty road. Let's start thinking of a date that will work for us. Let me know.

Up higher it's not too bad, you just have to leave the valley early enough and time your decent back into the valley to be after dusk.

If you think 25% is humid, you need to feel 100%, or even 80.

I'm sure you're invited, looks like an open invitation to me, not through pm or anything.

Aeroblaster, where do you live, and what timeline were you thinking?

Arizona ride......update

I was thinking maybe sept. Trip is about 400 miles and most is high country, but earily start is best. The low part of trip is open desert and at 70mph, it's not too hot. The road is so twisty that it's a bit slow going, so why try it all in one day. I live in tucson, but a meet in safford, az is a good jump off point. The hiway 191 is world class and not for hot dogger's. They have cold beer and great mex. food in Show Low, az. Motels are about $100 per night and res. would be a good idea. Tucson to safford is all low land and not that fun. I would be trucking my bike to the jump off point. There is one part of the trip that is over 100 miles between gas stations. Very remote.....
