I am unable to get the App to work on my i phone so I can have a look at suspension on my Lusso . I can pair it with the bike so I can go into phone and music player albeit not working properly but is sort of works ..however I cannot get the app to work :cussing: I click on the part that says connect to bike and it just spins and comes back to demo mode only !!.I have followed the pairing etc instructions numerous times on earlier posts on here all to no avail :frown2: ..Anyone have any idea what it could be or am I missing something

At least you guys can get your phones to pair with the bike...
You have to initiate the pairing from the TV dashboard and not from the phone. Basically it should be this (from memory):
- open bluetooth settings on the phone to get it discoverable
- open the bluetooth settings in the dashboard of the bike
- search for devices from the bike
- select the phone in the list
- check what are the information and adjust name if needed
- validate on the bike
- it indicates then a number you'll have to enter on the phone (if no number is displayed, try 0000)
- enter the number on the phone, and it's done

But that has to be quick, because it will fail if the phone goes idle and switch off screen...

Well, for that, I don't know. I don't have the Lusso version, so I can only run the demo mode of the application.

Well I got far as the validation code; the bike never produced one.
So I tried zeros and it failed.
Best guess is my phone's bluetooth is too old.

There is no app for windows 10, I'm not even sure there is an app for Android… But the app is useless unless you get a Lusso. The base version has no GPS tracker (which is by the way useless when you have a Garmin or Tomtom GPS), and old school suspensions (which I prefer by the way). And for the other differences between the Lusso and base versions, they are available as options (central stand, hot grips, luggage) and have nothing to do with the app again…

Now, when you have a Lusso, you need the app to be able to set the suspensions. As matter of fact, the Bluetooth has been working for me inconsistently for music times to times (seems there was quite a good improvement recently, but have no clue if it came from a phone update or the firmware update of my Sena headset). Generally, Bluetooth is not that reliable in any of the use I have (nothing to do with the bike): having to rely on an app relying on Bluetooth to communicate with the motorbike to set the suspension is basically what I would call an architectural issue. It is thought to be cool, but in reality, it is not cool at all because of the reliability issue of the architecture chosen. And there is not even a degrade way to compensate the flow… In other words, I'm happy with my non Lusso version: my suspension has been set once and I'm happy with the set up. It is how I learned to expect it now, and I only change the preload on the rear side when I get a passenger or luggage or both based on the estimated weight. And it works flawlessly :)

Phone is a Samsung Brightside, SCH-U380, it's not a smart phone, but does have bluetooth.
I can connect to my '12 Honda Civic make and receives calls.
Not really a problem, but I figure the bike has the option. Why not see what it can do?

I have an Iphone SE with ios 11.3.

My app will not connect to the Lusso even after successfully pairing with bluetooth.

Is there a way to determine the version of the MV app after downloading?

Is anyone successfully using the app with their Lusso? If so, how long ago did you download the app?
