Was wondering if anyone has winter modding plans for their F3?

I am down to pulling off the CNC racing billet engine covers, and putting on GB racing covers and getting my forks upgraded with Ohlins cartridge kit. Really wanting to do a header, tune, 10 spoke PVM wheels and different sprocket carrier also, just trying to rationalize the need, lol.

My winter modding for my F3 was to go to Michelin Power RS... my warm weather tire was Pirelli SuperCorsa SP V2's. I have to say that the Power RS gets sticky even on a day like today, which was 50 degrees max. Bike is very stable upright and is doing perfectly in the turns. A little adjustment to have it is in the turns. Holds its course more so if you want to change the line you have to be slightly more deliberate. But a great deal of improvement is that there seems to be a lot less head shake. I don't use steering damper so maybe I'm just light on the clip ons like I should be? This tire really agrees with the F3 800!!! I might go to the Michelin Power Cup EVO for the summer seeing how the Power RS is working with bike so well in the 'winter'!

My other mod is using a two piece non-perforated racing suit. Keeping me warmer and helping me look less like a racer when at Starbucks after the rides!

I am not so sure what tire I will use next, wanting to keep something sticky on the bike as once spring hits I want to be ready for the track without swapping tires. (SuperCorsa do pretty good). Just cant say I need the SC on the street though.

I just lowered mine .8" and I'm finishing up a custom side exit muffler. Im struggling with some of these carbon fiber part distributors to get a custom belly pan to finish it. Im trying to deal with MDI Carbon but once you send them money they disappear. Im running the rapid bike tuner works great but I was not a fan of the additional wiring harness like all piggy back tuners.

very nice any pictures?
Are you running the passerini quick change sprocket carrier stuff?

Just ordered these handsome devils, and having my ecu reflashed to go with my set-up (from passerini).. would have went rapidbike, but they don't offer the racing version, with ignition tuning.

Lowering came out nice, looks a little more aggressive and feels good. I lowered the front as suggested by Lust racing rear dog bones.

Looking good!, so is the ride height due to a short inseam? Are you running a passerini sprocket mounting kit?
Love the red chain.

I would say powdercoating the stock brackets and sidestand satin black would be sweet!

I was thinking about that.. im looking into some home powdercoating kits... Lowing is a preference im 5'10 and have done it on my older bikes. The sprocket carrier and flange are AEM I always told my self if im putting in the time to do the work Ill replace everything new then tell the GF its maintenance when I get a bunch of packages in the mail.

Very nice, did it have different cush drive inserts? which carrier nut is that?

Should have mine in from passerini this week, and really looking forward to getting the header on and the reflashed ecu on the back to fire her up. Just need my forks finished and should be good for the coming year.
