Half a day sitting on the MV sounds good to meBeen an owner/member here since 2006, as yet have not heard of 1 meet in the southeast, or at least close enough to not to spend 1/2 day sitting on the MV. Would like a local meet, in the summer of course lol.
My bad, Rochester, only a few jots round the M25 from where I am. Could always arrange a local meeting place n have a pint, of coke of courseHalf a day sitting on the MV sounds good to meI know what you're saying though. Where in UK are you? Might see if we can find out the geography of the UK members from the forum staff and find the most central point for everyone to meet, subject to a good riding route and meeting place.... Now is the time to start thinking of getting organised for a summer ride/meet...
Evo Chris is between you and I Graham, so we have hope to get a few of us together locally-ish... Just got to get some numbers and find a decent destination/route... Fingers crossed to get a date in for summertime!Hi I'm Hampshire side of West Sussex always up for an excuse to get out. Graham

Locally there are Whiteways and Loomies cafe, Alfs motorcycles main dealer Worthing further afield Moto Corsa MD Dorset and plenty of nice roads pubs etc - Southdowns National Park, Winchester onto New Forest NP and touristy Dorset. Any other suggestions anyone?Dan
I would love to have a reason to go somewhere on a ride although I go out as regularly as I can just to ride!
If we want to get together the only way, in my experience, is to get up and do something about it!
I only really know areas south of the M25 - the A272 is a very popular biking road runs from east sussex to hampshire (I live near the middle)
Hence creating this thread to get something organised.Dan

Bigger commitment than a days ride, but also interesting and worth while, so I'm game. The A272 sounds like a good option for a day out, further a field will mean more dosh and organisation, but happy to go with that if suits everyone.Locally there are Whiteways and Loomies cafe, Alfs motorcycles main dealer Worthing further afield Moto Corsa MD Dorset and plenty of nice roads pubs etc - Southdowns National Park, Winchester onto New Forest NP and touristy Dorset. We have a choice of day out meet go home or something a bit longer weekend?
My thoughts on the subject is meet at Alfs friday ride to new forest / dorset loads of tourist camping, b and bs, accomodation - Saturday morning Moto Corsa home or stay to suit yourselves. See what the the dealers can do Moto have a cafe for breakfast. Just some suggestions lads and no I don't work for the dealers or tourist board.
Anybody else interested or got other suggestions.

Dave, that makes 4 of us. Keep em coming. Obviously I'd be interested in an Essex ride, but something sensible, with decent route and reasonably accessible for all is what we need to arrange, so whether Kent, Essex, Hampshire, or wherever, it will need to be doable for the majority.I live near Canterbury in kent , would be interested in local kent ride out in the summer.
Fab, looking forward to it! So what's the bike?Hi guys, one more from the southeast !
I live in Kent (Maidstone) and should have the bike ready in a few weeks for meet-ups around Kent and the wider south east
see you soon !
I'm in Snowdonia, right on the West coast in Aberdyfi. I'm used to riding 3 hours solid to get to civilisation (Birmingham straight across is easiest - although it is arguable if Yam Yam country is civilised...) so willing to meet West Midlands way. We do have the best roads here though and more than willing to meet somewhere in Wales to direct / guide.
IF we're going to do a weekend break or a longer ride over a few days to accommodate a wider audience, I would say Wales is the best destination, it's a stunning place in parts and the roads are certainly better than many of the routes in England. Just takes more organisation, funds and commitment.I'm down towards south wales Monmouth. Rather than a ride, a few rides around the country is probably an easier ask.
