So I changed the chain and sprockets on my 2004 750 Brutale a couple hundred miles ago, the clutch slave has to be pulled to do this. Since then it feels like the clutch isn't disengaging as much when the clutch is pulled in. I've bled the setup twice since but doesn't seem any better. Seems to drag more at a stop when going into first at a stand still, a little clunkier overall.

Any special tricks to bleeding this system?

Yes,probably time for a clean-up and new seal fitted.
It is more than likely air ingress due to a worn slave cylinder seal.

Put on an Oberon after work today, much better. Issue fixed. I ordered it from bellissi Moto, package looked 20 years old, brittle and dis colored but the unit looked fine, works great. I find it very satisfying to fix things like this myself. This site is a big help....
