Hello everyone
Was just searching the internet for some info on a bike that I'm looking to purchase in the near future and saw that there is a forum for the brand. Sweet! So here I am hoping that you all could help me out.
I'm looking at the new Brutal Corse and there doesn't seem to be a lot of information on this particular bike yet.
Can anyone tell me something about it? Like how's the ride and power delivery? Are there any issues or do they have it sorted?
I understand that it is pretty much the same as the 1090rr with a few extra bits. Would sure appreciate any feed back that would make me feel better about dropping $24000 on this bike.
Some of the bikes that I've owned in the past are, Ducati 1098s, 996, Honda RC51,and a Yamaha R1.
Thanks everyone.

You will LOVE the Brutale.....The Corse is just an accessorized model. I don't think engine is different, but maybe I'm wrong.
Welcome to the family....a bit of search on the Forum here and some Google will give you lots of info.

Just buy it. You won't see yourself coming down the road like you do with the other bikes you've had....and talk about good looking !!!!

I think you'll love it. I came from a long list of Honda CBR's (1000). Since your coming from other high end bikes you'll appreciate the quality suspension. For me that was really the biggest upgrade coming from honda. Mine was pretty much flawless for the first season (3500 miles) Super comfortable and a LOT of fun to ride. Ive got two trips to the dragon last year and track days setup for this year.

The only cons I can list.
-My dash display control buttons decided to stop working after 1400 miles. Replaced under warranty and no problems since.
-Engine was weeping a little bit of oil first 1000 miles but that has stopped after adjustments/gasket from the dealer.
-The transmission definitely takes some time to get smooth. It was slipping out of gear for the first 500 miles. So you have to be pretty firm on the shifting.
-I honestly miss my Honda motor, it had way better mid range pull and much more smooth power band. The RR power is all the way at the top and you'll bounce off the limiter quicker than you think.

I am extremely happy with the purchase and would buy another one. Good luck and drop the coin! You wont regret it!

I have got the 1090RR earlier version. Fits me like a glove after adjustments. Matches up well for the type of riding I do, which is around 400km at a time in the surrounding hills and twisties. It does not like being stuck in city traffic and gets warm and requires clutch slipping to cope with 10kph dawdling along.
The Corse has the later motor with the grunt a little more in the upper rev range, and they have geared it down on the sprockets to match. Worth checking, but I understand it has the 5sm ecu, which is more sorted than the Eldor which is still getting development on the run.
