I don't honestly know much about this car, but apparently it held a land speed record over a hundred years ago (at 135 mph). It has been restored - what a beast! Just look at the size of the engine. And then, they start it up... holy s**t... I about fell out of my chair!

I love it when they show the crankshaft, too.

Apparently they are going to make a film about the period and the restoration project.

I sent this to a friend who has a 1926 Sunbeam. His reply 'Yes, hand starting a 28l engine isn't something you see every day…..'
